It came just fine obviously needed to be cleaned as any item would need to be if bought online. I used it as a bird bath and it worked for months until I decided I didn’t want to take care of it anymore to keep it working for a while here’s some tips:-clean it out DAILY, empty it out wash it run hot water maybe soapy too thru the filter(just fill it up with hot water and soap and turn it on) the tube is small and so are the holes for the water so it needs to be cleaned well daily or it will clog. DONT TURN IT ON WHILE DIRTY UT WILL CLOG clean multiple times a day if you have time and want it on all the time-don’t leave it on all the time so the batteries last unless your ok with investing in lots of batteries-my birds learned how to turn it on themselves so if your birds do this and your never home put it up while your gone so it doesn’t clog up if they get something in itThis toy was great I loved it for so long it makes not much sound but it does make sound and hate quiet so it’s great it’s wonderful for the price bc of how long it lasted but it is a lot of work to keep up with if this is just a kids toy or something like that you’ll probably just need to change the water daily bc germs I did have to unscrew the faucet once bc it stopped working but I just touched some things and put it back and it worked again something may have been slight out of place but was super easily fixed don’t run the faucet without water not sure why but that may have been my issue this is a wonderful product it just needs to be taken care of properly to keep it working the internal parts are small they can’t handle chunks of food or seeds or feathers im keeping it in my garage for now until I’m more motivated to take care of it again but it will be coming out again eventually I love this thing and the birds do too
