It is easy to calibrate your pH meter How to Calibrate the pH Meter? 1. Before calibration, prepare 3 beakers containing separately 250ml of pH 4.00/pH 6.86/pH 9.18 standard solution. 2. Rinse the electrode with clean distilled water and wipe it dry. Turn on the pH meter and adjust to pH mode. 3. Immerse the electrode into the pH6.86 buffer solution, wait for the value to stabilize, press "CAL" for 5s, and the screen will display "CAL", when pH6.86 flashes 3 times, the calibration of pH6.86 is finished. 4. Repeat the above steps to calibrate pH4.00 or pH9.18. EC Calibration for Accuracy Mastering EC Calibration for Precision Measurements 1. Rinse the probe with distilled water and wipe it dry. Switch on the pH meter and select the EC mode. 2. Immerse the electrode into the 1413uS/cm standard solution. Allow the value to stabilize, then press "CAL" for 5 seconds. The screen will display "CAL," and after 3 flashes, the 1413uS/cm calibration is complete. 3. Repeat the process for the 12.88mS/cm solution, following the same steps. This straightforward calibration ensures your EC meter delivers precise value for various applications. I have a hard time reading the test strips for pH and alkalinity. Shades of red, lol. This device works as advertised! You do need to calibrate it first, but it's easy. It comes with packages that you add distilled water to. Save these in Mason jars for calibrating periodically. It didn't matter what order you do it in (3 calibration solutions). But, it does need to be 25C or 77F. 5 seconds in the microwave. I use this for the pH and salt (ppm). Instant reading! For alkalinity, I use the 5 way test. Test strip are good for chlorine. I finally have accurate test results to use with my Pooli app! If you have a pool, you need this and the free Pooli app. Happy summer!
