They’re keeping birds from nesting under my deckI bought them for my garden to keep birds out and they’ve done that job perfectly! The strings do get with out in the sun and rain and break but they can be easily swapped out for a new stringI was having a problem with birds making a nest inside the gazebo. Well that problem has been solved by hanging 4 spinning sickles, 2 on one side, and 2 on the other of the 12’x16’ gazebo. The birds have since stayed away!!No birds setting up camp in my flower baskets!I think this is going to work in keeping the Mourning Doves from building their nest in my sun shade.The item is good quality but it doesn’t shine that much to prevent birds from eating the fruits it’s not working on my treesthey sparkle in the sun and breeze, chasing deer away from my potted flowers.Durable and they don't look bad but they didn't keep any birds away.
